If this room mattered to you, this is your window.
If you’re seeing this shirt, you can hear (and smell) rock n roll in Hampton Roads.
It sounds like The States, M-80s, Worthless Dizzies, Neo Duo, The Candy Snatchers, Combine, Jerm Flux, Buttsteak, BuzzOven, Antic Hay, and a room full of screaming kids in baggy pants with drop-D guitars.
Ball this one up under your nose and you’ll smell stale beer and cheap urine.
About the shirt
This is a hand-screened cotton t-shirt using artwork pulled directly from original King’s Head Inn signage and an old bumper sticker.
The King’s Head Inn was a real Norfolk, Virginia venue that hosted touring bands from the 1960s through the 1990s. This shirt documents that place and moment.
